Hazelnuts

For about 25 years the farm has had a hazelnut grove whose hazelnuts, of the Tonda Gentile Romana variety, are currently given to the CO.PRO.N.T. cooperative in Ronciglione (VT) of which the  farm is a member. The hazelnut grove occupies an area of the farm, once cultivated with vineyards, in a valley bottom;  the preferred habitat for the crop.
